St James Hotel:  Victor Freeman Trio entertains in Jimmy's Pub at 8 p.m.  Free.

Colvill Park:  Although Eagle Watch doesn't officially start for two weeks, apparently no one told the eagles.  These pictures were taken Jan. 3 at Colvill Park.  Visit Red Wing and see dozens of these magnificent birds all along the Mississippi.
