Lake City Winterfest: The annual Lake City Winterfest includes family-friendly events. Today’s activities include old-fashioned ice-cutting, smoosh races, children’s sled parade at 2 p.m., polar plunge at 3 p.m. and fireworks at 6 p.m. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. throughout Lake City.

Kid’s Fishing Contest: The Rotary Club holds its annual fishing contest. 12:30 p.m. registration, 1-2:30 p.m. contest at Pottery Pond, Red Wing. Free

Cannon River Winery: The Average Janes will perform. 2-5 p.m. Free.

Sheldon Theatre: Missoula Children’s Theatre presents “The Tortoise Versus the Hare.” 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. $10 adults, $6 students.

Gelly's Pub: The Midlife Cryslers will play music featuring hits from the 1960s and 1970s. 7 p.m. Gelly's Pub & Eatery, Stockholm, Wis.

Marie’s Underground Grill and Tap Bar: Stiletto will perform music. 9 p.m.
